When on February 21, 1941, Mr. Guido Buscaroli decided with some of his best friends to found DISA, the Second World War had already broken up. In fact, after just few months, all plants and machinery had to be moved out of Milan, to the small town of Magenta, because of the dangerous raids of the allied bombers.

DISA main activity of O.E.M. diesel fuel injection systems continued and increased during the post-war period, then facing the growing competition of the newly integrated E.E.C. countries. It was in those years that DISA decided to diversify its production to the replacement parts specially suitable for U.S. made fuel injection systems (Detroit Diesel, E.M.D., Caterpillar and Cummins).

Furthemore, always in the light of finding more profitable niches left by the huge worldwide manufactures, it was planned to enter into the sophisticated hydraulic transmissions and distributors for special applications.
All this is a piece of history.

DISA, is now a company with about 150 employees, well equipped: in its facilities, on more than 15.000 sqm, are placed the most advanced production machineries, quality control and inspection instruments.

With our R&D department, we are in the position to study, test and manufacture a large variety of products, just tailored on customer's specific needs.

DISA products are directly distribuited throught 50 countries and many more indirectly.

During its life, DISA had the privilege to serve some of the most important Italian manufacturers of diesel engines, trucks, agricultural tractors and off-road vehicles.

With most of them, DISA is still sharing business, hopes and dreams, facing the challenges that the modern world puts everyday in front of us.
